2001 - We both graduate from Lehigh University and move to NYC
 
2003 - Ken leaves M & A at Merrill Lynch to run his parents gemstone cutting business
 
2003 - Dana leaves the Mortgage Trading desk at Goldman Sachs to join Ken in starting BYLU with an inital collection inspired by Maine Flowers
 
2004 - While trying to create a capsule collection for the Doo.ri spring 2005 show the two couldn't find someone who would craft their designs. This led to a technical baptism by fire, and just like that the BYLU workshop was born
 
-   We create a Tsunami relief bracelet & donate portions of the proceeds to UNICEF
 
2005 - We are named GenArt Styles Accessory Finalists
 
2006 - Debut fine jewelry collection "Isis" is inspired by the Godess and the female form
 
2007 - "Two" 18k and oxidized silver collection is inspired by a driving tour of Spain (most notibly Barcelona)
 
-   We are named GenArt Styles Accessory Finalists
 
2008 - "Compass Rose" 14k collection uses our relationship with the city's past as the inspiration
 
-   Ken and Dana launch the "B-side by BYLU" label with a bold graffiti inspired collection: "onefortyfive.sixty"
